Gingerbread House Demolition
This year we learned not to keep the Gingerbread house up too long as last year it got all dusty before the kids could eat it!.. This year we made it two days before the last day of school, during the middle of exams so it could be a break from studying and so it would still be tasty on demolition day! The last day of school was December 17. There was an assembly in the afternoon and when the kids came home at about 2:30 in the afternoon we demolished it! It was a great way to send the kids off.
On the last day of school the grade 5-6 race the derby cars they made
the younger kids came to cheer them on (Mikaylah is in the reindeer antlers).
Dae Yoen made a black car for the derby.

All Tangled Up!
Gingerbread House Assembly
Every year we make a gingerbread house and admire it for a few days before we eat it. This year we made the Gingerbread house two days before the last day of school. The day we planned to eat the house!First we bake all the pieces. Jayson really wanted to eat it before we put it together!
