wild life

This morning Mikaylah found a baby gecko in the kitchen sink.  The porcelain was too slippery for  him to climb out.  Mikaylah had pity on him and carried him to the back yard to set him free.  Jayson, however was busy with Rover, the campus tortoise.  It never ceases to amaze me how patient Rover is with Jayson.  And he is relatively fast, too!

Dry season also brings out the hedgehogs.  They are really cute and curl up in a ball when they are scared.  Then there is Jayson's newest addition a crocodile that grows!! "it's okay, mum, it is really just fake!"  I am so relieved!  Sorry no pictures, I have pictures, they just aren't loading so I am going to post this and try to add the pictures later.
